Break The Silence

Addressing the Silent Epidemic in the Diabetic Community: Diabetic Foot Ulcers

Last year, we launched the #BreakTheSilence Campaign to address the silent epidemic in the diabetic community: diabetic foot ulcers.

Diabetic foot ulcers are an understated complication of diabetes and the dialogue about these debilitating wounds is often lost in the broader conversation of diabetes management.
#BreakTheSilence aims to:
1. Raise awareness.
2. Combat the stigmas.
3. Prevent the occurrence of diabetic foot ulcers.

Support the #BreakTheSilence Campaign:
1. Share our posts on your social platforms, website, and community groups to spread awareness.
2. Use our hashtag, #BreakTheSilence, to join the conversation.
3. Download and display our infographics and factsheets to your communities.
