PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla., Oct 4, 2021— RedDress, a privately held U.S. and Israel-based wound care company, today announced that it will exhibit its innovative wound solution, ActiGraft® System at the AHCA/NCAL Convention & Expo from October 10-13 in Washington D.C.
The American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL) is the nation’s largest member association representing long term and post-acute care providers. The convention attendees will include executive and clinical leaders from their 14,000 member facilities.
ActiGraft is the first wound care product that enables health care providers to produce—in real-time— autologous blood clots from a patient’s own blood. Once applied, the blood clot serves as a protective covering and supports the body’s natural wound healing response.
In addition to ActiGraft’s unique healing benefits, there are a number of benefits for your facility, including:
- With a 72% complete wound closure rate1, ActiGraft is proven to successfully heal a variety of challenging wounds including pressure injuries, diabetic foot ulcers, venous ulcers, skin tears, and surgical wounds.
- ActiGraft can be prepared at your patients’ point of care without an extensive amount of training or staff, ensuring seamless deployment across the continuum of care.
- ActiGraft allows facilities to experience the healing power of wound care at an affordable cost by reducing your facilities’ wound care spend up to 40%[2].
“We are pleased to participate in this year’s AHCA/NCAL Convention & Expo and discuss how valuable ActiGraft can be for long-term care facilities,” said Rhonda Smith, National Sales Director USA. “Many of the patients we serve are in long-term or post-acute facilities. We are looking forward to continuing to grow within these facilities, aid patients in their healing and reshape the care and treatment of chronic wounds.”
Attendees are encouraged to visit RedDress’ booth on Monday, October 11th from 11:30am – 3:00pm and on Tuesday, October 12th from 10:30am – 1:30pm to learn more about how ActiGraft is used to support healing and improve patient outcomes.
About ActiGraft®
ActiGraft based on RedDress’ proprietary patented technology, is an FDA-cleared wound care solution that enables health care providers to produce – in real time – an in vitro blood clot from a patient’s whole blood. Once applied, the blood clot serves as a protective covering and supports wound healing processes which naturally occur in the patient’s body.
ActiGraft is intended for exuding cutaneous wounds. ActiGraft includes blood-contacting components that have been sterilized by Ethylene Oxide, which may cause serious allergic reactions in patients that are sensitized. For full prescribing information, visit www.reddressmedical.com/safety-info.
